KaikourA

Just a short drive from the cabins is the town of Kaikoura, a bustling seaside town servicing a population of over 4,000, boosted by a thriving tourism industry.

2. 5 hours from Christchurch and the South Island’s largest International Airport, Kaikoura is the perfect destination for a long weekend or stop along your South Island road trip.

Unrecognisable after the 2016 earthquake, Kaikoura now tells the tale of a town who has rebuilt and come back stronger and better than before.
